Avenue Six is a company that provides consultancy services to destinations and businesses and DMC services to the international travel trade. The team from Avenue Six providing specialist support to the Durham Business Growth programme comprises Jackie Ellis, Melanie Sensicle and Nick Head. They are joined by local retail and hospitality expert Graham Soult.

The team has significant and diverse experience of supporting businesses in the tourism and hospitality sector and worked together on a project to provide businesses support to over 150 business across Somerset to help with Covid-19 recovery and planning for future growth.  Individually they have acted as business mentors in the UK and across Europe and worked as destination managers, hoteliers, retailers and tour reps. 

Collectively their knowledge, skills and experience covers marketing including digital marketing, customer service, product development, commercial operations, business planning, online distribution systems and sustainable tourism and they have sector specialisms in accommodation, attractions, hospitality, tourism services, retail, culture, heritage and food and drink.
